Izabela Piłat - Artist's Bio

I'm a Polish artist currently living in Alberta, Canada. I have been interested in art my entire life.

In my painted world, oils and acrylics are my favorite mediums to work with, but that doesn't stop me from experimenting with different mixed media.

What I love about art is; there are no rules. That is how art is born, how breakthroughs happen. I paint what I see, as I see it, in my own way. I've always had a deep intrest in art, which is inspired by a love of nature. Through my paintings, I'm able to express and share my feelings about nature's beauty. Painting brings me peace and offers me a place to meditate on the beauty in the world.
